Full House Moves · from $100
Full House Movers in Halifax, Nova Scotia
Start-to-finish moves for families and homeowners, with flexible options that keep the day affordable. Quoted on your actual home — not a guess from a price list.
Who it's for
The whole house, handled in one day
A house move is a different animal from an apartment move. There's a basement nobody has fully looked in since you moved in, a garage with a lawnmower and four bins of Christmas decorations, appliances that need to come off their feet, and a closing date that isn't moving no matter what.
We take it room by room so nothing gets lost in the shuffle, and we build the schedule around your possession day rather than around ours. Because the size of a house varies so much, the $100 base rate is a starting point: we quote on what's actually in yours after we've talked through the rooms, the appliances and the access at both ends.
- Families moving between neighbourhoods or across the HRM
- First-time buyers leaving a rental for a house
- Downsizers moving to a smaller home or a condo
- Anyone relocating within a 90-minute radius of Halifax
What's included
How a full house move runs
Flexible and affordable is the point — tell us where your budget is and we'll tell you honestly what we can shape around it.
Room-by-room loading
Loaded so each room comes off the truck together and lands where it belongs, instead of a wall of anonymous boxes in the hall.
Appliances & large furniture
Washers, dryers, fridges, sectionals and bed frames — the pieces that make people dread the day.
Basements and garages
The parts of the house that always take longer than anyone expects. We plan time for them up front.
Closing-day scheduling
Possession days shift. Tell us early and we'll work with the date you've actually got, not the one you hoped for.
How it works
Four steps from quote to keys
-
Talk through the house
Number of bedrooms, appliances, basement and garage, plus driveway and access at both ends.
-
Get a quote on your home
A real number for your house rather than a generic rate — including anything that will need extra time.
-
Lock the date early
Roughly a month ahead. Month-end and summer closing dates are the first to go across Halifax.
-
Move day
We load, transport and unload room by room, and take away anything you've asked us to dispose of.
Questions
House move questions
Why is the price “from $100”?
Because a two-bedroom bungalow and a four-bedroom house with a finished basement are completely different days of work, and quoting one number for both would mean overcharging half our customers. The $100 is where pricing starts; you get a firm quote for your home before anything is booked.
Can you move us on a closing day?
Yes — most house moves happen on one. Closing days do sometimes shift at the last minute, so let us know as soon as you have a firm date and tell us immediately if it moves. The earlier we know, the more likely we can hold the new date.
Do you move appliances and outdoor equipment?
Fridges, washers, dryers and the usual large appliances, yes. For anything unusual — a hot tub, a piano, a ride-on mower — mention it when you ask for a quote so we can tell you up front whether it's something we can take.
