What "within 90 minutes of Halifax" actually means
We measure our service area in drive time rather than kilometres, because in Nova Scotia the two aren't the same thing. Ninety minutes up Highway 102 gets you well past Truro. Ninety minutes along the South Shore or the Eastern Shore covers considerably less ground but a lot of coastline. Both are inside our area.
In practice that includes the whole of Halifax Regional Municipality — the Halifax peninsula and mainland, Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville, Cole Harbour, Eastern Passage, Timberlea, Tantallon, Porters Lake and the communities along both shores — plus towns further out like Truro, Windsor, Elmsdale, Enfield, Chester and Bridgewater.

Do you charge extra for longer distances?
Distance is one of the things that shapes your quote, so a move from one end of the peninsula to the other and a move from Halifax to Truro won't cost the same. It's priced in before you book, never added after.
Can you move me from Halifax to somewhere outside the 90-minute radius?
Ask us. Longer moves are handled case by case depending on the date and how much is going. We'd rather tell you honestly that a job is outside what we can do well than take it and let you down on moving day.
Do you cross the harbour bridges?
Constantly — Halifax-to-Dartmouth moves and Marketplace pickups across the harbour are everyday work for us. Bridge and ferry geography is factored into the quote and the timing.
