What does a move actually cost?
Every job is quoted on its own. The number depends on how much is moving, how far it's going, and access details like stairs, elevators or a long driveway. Call us, or email a list or a few photos, and we'll come back with a firm number — free, and before you commit rather than after the truck is loaded.
Can I book more than one service at once?
Yes, and it's often cheaper that way. A common combination is an apartment move plus a disposal run, so the old mattress or couch leaves at the same time as everything else instead of sitting in the new place for a month.
Do you help with packing?
We focus on the moving itself — loading, transporting and unloading. Tell us how packed you are when you ask for a quote and we'll be straight about what we can help with on the day. TODO Confirm with the client whether packing services are offered.
How far in advance should I book?
About a month ahead for a specific day and time, especially at the end of a month or over the summer when everyone in Halifax moves at once. Small jobs can often be fit in sooner — it's always worth asking.
